SCA Coffee Skills – Brewing Intermediate

True Stone is an accredited Premier Training Campus for the Specialty Coffee Association, part of an international educational network allowing coffee professionals around the world access to structured, standardized education and the ability to pursue their dreams of a career in specialty coffee.
Over 2 days, we will cover the core and advanced skills expected from a competent cafe manager, lead barista or brew analyst. Successful candidates will be able to analyze and dial in an brewing recipe with confidence, both by taste and through the use of a refractometer, as well as understand the affects of pulsing and bypass on multiple batch sizes.
The course includes 10-14 hrs of hands-on coursework, and 2 hours of written and practical exams.
Students registering for this class must have passed the Foundation level or equivalent barista course.
