Specs Ethiopia (Yirgacheffe, Sede/Konga) | Heirloom Ethiopian Varieties | 1780–1870 MASL | Natural | Roast: Light
Things you might taste Perfumy jasmine, cooked berry, fresh stone fruit. Medium body, winey acidity, fruit‑like sweetness.
Details Konga is sourced from Cafe Imports’ partner washing station in the village of Sede, just south of Yirgacheffe. This microregion is known for vibrant citrus and supportive stone‑fruit character. Coffee is grown by smallholder farmers on tiny plots and delivered to local washing stations, where cherries are sorted and processed. With hundreds of contributing producers, traceability is typically regional rather than individual. We return to the same stations each year to maintain consistency and deepen relationships at origin.
